Well, for starters, I'm good at capturing the dark, sassy, and unique side in my subjects. After three lackluster decades of shooting photos for ceremonies and celebrations, I had enough and chose to embark on a journey into a new genre: boudoir photography. Since then, choosing to make that change was easily the best thing that I could have done for myself. I regained my passion for photography, finding that breaking the norms and pivoting to boudoir was so much more my style.
Boudoir for me is not just photography, nor is it just a simple piece of art or a session, it’s so much more than that. My clients are not just giving me their time, but they show a vulnerable part of themselves, and ask me to tenderly put it on display, to show them what is already beautiful. They find me through all different walks of life, all lifestyles, every body type, all age, all relationships, and they come to me wanting to see themselves in a new light. Things that were once thought of as flaws, imperfections, are seen in a different perspective through my lenses. My clients leave with a sense of self-love for their image, something I could only give to them with boudoir.
My studio space, which is based in the lovely Woonsocket area, is cozily located in the lower level of my home. You will notice, just like yourself, that my studio space is not perfect. However, that’s what makes it special and I promise that it isn’t as scary as it looks! You’ll find that all the photographs that you’ve seen on my website and all social media were taken in this very space. You don’t need a fancy and perfect space to be able to create something special. It's all about having an eye that sees the potential in the photo and in you.
A good photo shoot wouldn't be complete without a backdrop. That's why I have a variety of them to choose from. So whether your feeling risqué and bold or perhaps you're on the softer side I have the backdrop to make your photos pop.
